Complete 8 hours of self-paced online instruction, then join us at the range for your live-fire qualification. Flexible scheduling for the online portion.

16 hours of self-paced online instruction followed by a live-fire qualification day. Ideal if you prefer to complete all coursework on your own schedule.

Complete Your Online Instruction
8 or 16 hours · Self-paced · Available starting January 1, 2027
All CCW permit courses begin with online instruction. Complete your coursework on your own schedule before attending the live-fire range day. Both blended and fully online formats will be available starting January 1, 2027.
Blended — 8 Hours Online
Complete 8 hours online, then attend one 8-hour range day to qualify.
Fully Online — 16 Hours Online
Complete all 16 hours online, then attend a range qualification session.

Live-Fire Range Qualification

CCW enrollment opens once we complete registration with the San Diego Sheriff's Department.

Intro to Firearms
Never held a gun before? This 4-hour course covers safe handling, storage, basic operation, and range etiquette in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. No experience required.

What to Bring
- Government-issued photo ID
- Your registered handgun (range day only)
- Ammunition — 100 rounds minimum for initial qualification
- Eye and ear protection (available at the range)
- Closed-toe shoes required
Firearms may not be rented for CCW qualification. You must bring a handgun you own and have fired before.

Renewing your existing CCW permit? The renewal course is shorter — 8 hours instead of 16. Contact us to confirm your renewal timeline and book your range day.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 72 hours before your class and receive full credit toward any future booking. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Credits do not expire.
Payment
We accept cash, Zelle, and all major credit and debit cards. Zelle and debit carry no surcharge. Credit cards have a 3% processing fee.
Refer a Friend
Refer a friend who completes a paid course and receive a credit toward your next booking. Contact us for current credit amounts.
