About Ready2Carry
We built Ready2Carry because we believe every responsible adult in San Diego deserves access to quality, judgment-free firearms education.
What Makes Us Different
Experience
Our instructors bring real-world teaching experience with adults — covering safe operation of firearms for defensive purposes. California DOJ-certified and NRA-certified instructors guide you through the fundamentals.
Environment
You'll train at a controlled indoor range — a focused, professional environment where you can hear your instructor clearly, stay comfortable regardless of weather, and concentrate on building real skill. No distractions. No rushing.
Student Focus
We genuinely care about your success at protecting yourself and your family. Not our history of success — your future success at making the world a safer place, one student at a time.

Owner & Director of Training
Ready2Carry was founded by a San Diego-based firearms educator with a passion for making concealed carry education accessible to everyone — especially first-time gun owners. Every class is taught personally by our lead instructor, not a rotating staff or contract instructor. When you book a class, you know exactly who is teaching it.
- California BSIS and DOJ certified instructor
- NRA Training Counselor
- Teaching firearms safety since the 1990s
- San Diego County local — knows the Sheriff's process inside and out
"A one or two day class teaches you the standards. After that it's on you to learn what you need to know. What we can do is make sure you start with good habits instead of ones you'll have to unlearn."
Choosing an Instructor
You don't have to train with us. But vet whoever you pick.
